The Free plugin is licensed under GPLv2

The Free version of the iWEBAPP Google Reviews Widget, distributed through the official WordPress.org Plugin Directory, is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPLv2), consistent with WordPress.org's requirements for hosted plugins. Under GPLv2, you may run, study, modify, and redistribute the Free plugin, including on unlimited sites, provided any redistribution of a modified version is also licensed under GPLv2. The Free plugin is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law, as is standard for GPL-licensed software.

The Pro plugin is a paid, licensed product

Pro is a separate, paid add-on distributed directly by iWEBAPP, activated with a license key validated against iWEBAPP's licensing server. A Pro license grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the Pro plugin on the number of sites included in the purchased license tier, and to receive plugin updates and support for as long as that license remains active, as shown in the License tab inside the plugin.

A Pro license may not be shared across more sites than its tier allows, resold as a standalone product, or used to redistribute the Pro plugin's paid code to third parties outside the terms of that license. Deactivating a license on one site frees a seat that can be used to activate the plugin on another site.

Renewing, upgrading, or downgrading a license, and any specific pricing, tiers, or renewal terms in effect at the time of purchase, are governed by the order details shown at checkout on iWEBAPP's payment platform, which take precedence over any general description on this page if the two differ.

Acceptable use

The plugin's Google review importer is intended to import reviews for a public Google Business Profile or Google Maps listing that the site operator owns or is authorized to manage. You are responsible for having the right to display any review or testimonial content the plugin imports or that you upload through the CSV/JSON importer, and for complying with Google's own terms of service when importing publicly available listing data. Using the plugin or this website to defame, misrepresent review data, or violate the rights of a reviewer or a third-party platform is not permitted.

Before saving a review source, the plugin requires this exact confirmation: "I own or am authorized to manage this Business Profile and understand that I am responsible for the imported content and applicable service terms." iWEBAPP Agency Inc. is not responsible for any misuse of the plugin, in any way or form, including importing, uploading, or publishing review or testimonial content that the site operator does not own or is not authorized to use. The site operator is solely responsible for that decision and any consequences arising from it, including claims brought by a reviewer or a third party.

Intellectual property

The Glowing Reviews name, the iWEBAPP name and logo, and this website's original content, design, and copy are the property of iWEBAPP Agency Inc., except for the Free plugin's GPLv2-licensed code as described above. Review and testimonial content imported or uploaded through the plugin remains the property of its original source; the plugin only stores and displays it on the site where it was imported.

Disclaimers

The website, the Free plugin, and the Pro plugin are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. iWEBAPP does not guarantee that the plugin will be error-free, that it will produce any specific search ranking or rich-snippet result in Google, or that a Google Business Profile importer will always succeed, since Google may change what listing data is publicly available or how it is structured at any time, outside iWEBAPP's control.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iWEBAPP Agency Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website or the plugin, including loss of data, loss of business, or loss of revenue, beyond the amount actually paid for a Pro license in the twelve months preceding a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law.

Third-party data and services

Review and rating data imported from Google reflects what Google publicly displays for a given listing at the time of import, and iWEBAPP is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or removal of that data by Google. Payment processing for Pro licenses is handled by PayPal under PayPal's own terms of service; iWEBAPP is not a party to the payment relationship between you and PayPal beyond fulfilling the license upon a completed order.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ottawa, Ontario, unless applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time as the product, pricing, or website changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website or the plugin after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
