Why we built Glowing Reviews
We kept running into the same problem on client projects. Business owners wanted their Google reviews on their WordPress site, but the popular tools forced a choice: hand review data to a SaaS platform and pay every month, or wrestle with a Google API key, a Cloud project, and billing limits. Neither felt right for a small business that just wanted to show its reviews.
So we built the plugin we wished existed. Import reviews from a public Google URL with no API key, keep every review in your own WordPress database, curate what shows, design it on a live canvas, and publish with one shortcode. The Free version covers the core grid. Pro adds a slider, unlimited saved displays, and exports for people who need more.
What we promise, and what we will not pretend
- Your review data stays in your WordPress database. We do not send it to our servers or any third party.
- No Google API key, no monthly subscription for the core grid, no external account.
- A named Canadian team answers support, in English, French, Portuguese, or Spanish.
- We will not promise gold star snippets in Google. Reviews you show about your own business are self-serving and not eligible for review rich results. What you get is genuine on-page social proof.
Responsible use
Only import profiles you own or are authorized to manage. Administrators are responsible for content rights, privacy obligations, and applicable terms. The plugin does not collect analytics or transmit visitor data to iWEBAPP.
